Entrepreneur Training Program

The Entrepreneur Training Program provides a comprehensive roadmap for building a venture in the life sciences. Each week, participants address specific themes – from customer discovery and ecosystem mapping to financial modeling and regulatory pathways – culminating in a Demo Day where they pitch to potential investors and partners.

Program Structure

Entrepreneur Readiness Week

  • Focus: Leadership training, idea validation, and foundational business skills.
  • Activities: Intensive workshops, mentor assessments, and networking.
  • Dates: August 17 (9am – 4pm; Virtual), August 18 (9am – 4pm; Virtual), August 21 (11am – 3pm; In person; optional, but strongly recommended)

Entrepreneur Studio

  • Dates: Early September to Early December; 1–3 weekly sessions, usually at 12:00 – 1:00 PM ET (specific dates TBD)
  • Focus: Venture development, value proposition, customer feedback, and communications.
  • Activities: Weekly virtual sessions, mentorship, and in-person workshops.

Program Deliverables

By the end of the program, you will have:

Formed a company on a theme, topic, business, or product idea.

Developed a business model and product concept proposal.

Created and presented an effective pitch deck.

Registered the company with the federal grant system to apply for non-dilutive funding.

Developed a business plan, grant application, or strategic plan, including investment strategy or program participation.
